Accusations of corruption have created a political stir in Karnataka, as BJP President B Y Vijayendra accused the ruling Congress of funneling money to its high command. Vijayendra claimed that the state is being exploited as an 'ATM' to satisfy party leaders in Delhi.
In response, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar rebuked Vijayendra, calling him the 'king of collection' and expressing concerns over his lack of experience. Shivakumar challenged Vijayendra to substantiate his allegations in the legislative assembly.
Vijayendra further claimed that various development funds have been misappropriated under the current administration, exacerbating political tensions ahead of the session's conclusion. The opposition's request to extend the legislative session remains unaddressed.
