Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made a strong pitch for state development, expressing readiness to engage repeatedly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to advocate for Telangana's infrastructure needs. Speaking at a public meeting in Nirmal district, Reddy called for an airport in Adilabad to enhance regional connectivity.
Reddy underscored that his interactions with the Prime Minister were solely focused on the state's progress, not personal ties. He highlighted that key projects, such as an airport and an irrigation venture on the Godavari River, depend on federal backing and cooperation from neighboring Maharashtra.
In a critique of the opposition BRS, Reddy accused them of stagnation during a decade of rule and urged them to offer constructive input. He also called on voters to support capable candidates for the upcoming municipal elections, asserting that the Congress would govern Telangana until 2034.
