India Strengthens Nepal Ties with Election Assistance
India has handed over 60 of the 650 vehicles pledged to Nepal to aid in the upcoming March 5 elections. The support emphasizes the deep ties between the two nations. The vehicles, part of a larger package, are set to be delivered in waves over the coming weeks.

India has donated 60 vehicles to Nepal, aiming to bolster preparations for the March 5 elections. This marks the first dispatch of a pledged 650-vehicle fleet.
The vehicles and supplies were officially presented to Nepal's Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal in a ceremony led by Dr Rakesh Pandey, Charge d' Affairs of India's Embassy in Kathmandu.
In a statement, Aryal expressed gratitude towards India, highlighting the profound relationship shared by the neighboring countries. The remainder of the aid will be delivered in separate batches as election preparations continue.
