Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched a vigorous campaign in Kerala, targeting the Congress and CPI(M) while unveiling infrastructure projects worth Rs 11,000 crore. His visit, aimed at bolstering BJP's electoral prospects, also included outreach to the influential Dheevara community, urging them to lead Kerala's Blue Economy.

Political tensions emerged as Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and other LDF ministers boycotted the event, protesting against state PWD Minister P A Mohammed Riyas's exclusion. Unfazed, Modi inaugurated several projects, including a Polypropylene unit at BPCL Kochi Refinery, new train services, and NH-66 six-laning initiatives.

At a party rally, Modi accused both the LDF and UDF of fostering corruption and communal politics, citing the Sabarimala gold loss issue and various scams. He emphasized BJP's commitment to national development and criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's comments on India's drone industry, underscoring BJP's proactive crisis management in West Asia.
