Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to invigorate BJP's assembly election campaign in Assam, with planned addresses at two rallies on Wednesday.
Modi will commence his outreach at Gogamukh in Dhemaji district at 11 a.m. He will then head to Biswanath district for a subsequent public meeting at 1 p.m. Senior party figures and state ministers are set to accompany him, party sources confirmed.
In Dhemaji, Modi is slated to campaign for state minister Ranoj Pegu and Naba Kumar Doley, contesting in the region's constituencies. His second rally will support Pallab Lochan Das, a former minister vying for office in Behali. Security measures have been rigorously implemented, with both central and state police forces deployed to manage crowds and ensure the events proceed without a hitch, officials stated.
