In a fiery address on Thursday, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi launched a serious critique against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, labeling him a 'coward' who has jeopardized India's energy security by capitulating to the US. Her remarks were made during a rally in Puthanthopu, bolstering the Congress-led UDF's campaign for the Kerala assembly elections.
Gandhi reserved harsh words for Modi's policies, especially a trade deal deemed 'unfair' to Indian farmers. She also accused the Prime Minister of having his 'name in the Epstein files,' suggesting this reason motivates his controversial decisions. She further criticized India's vulnerable position in the West Asia conflict, attributing it to Modi 'bowing down' to foreign powers like the US and Israel.
Priyanka Gandhi didn't spare the local Left government, led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, accusing them of being Modi's 'B-team.' She highlighted shortcomings in Kerala's public services, especially the health sector, which she claimed suffers from staffing and equipment shortages.
