Nitin Nabin, the National President of the BJP, criticized the Congress for allegedly supporting infiltrators for vote bank politics during its tenure, in a rally in Assam. He urged voters to recall the Congress-led era when casting their ballots in the upcoming assembly elections.

Supporting candidate Diganta Kalita for Kamalpur, Nabin praised the BJP-led NDA government for bringing development to Assam under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. He claimed the state has experienced significant progress and safety improvements over the last decade.

Confident in a BJP victory, Nabin emphasized the importance of retaining a government focused on development. He pointed out the state's transformation since his early visits in 2009-10, when development discussions were absent, and tensions were high.
