The BJP has launched a fresh offensive against Arvind Kejriwal, national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), over his new residence at Lodhi Estate, dubbing it 'Sheesh Mahal 2'.
During a press conference, Delhi Public Works Department Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma accused Kejriwal of indulging in opulent living. He alleged that private money was used in creating extravagant amenities in the bungalow assigned to Kejriwal as the national party chief.
Kejriwal's previous accommodation had been similarly criticized by the BJP, sparking questions regarding financial transparency within AAP, a claim the current controversy revives. There has been no response from the AAP to these latest allegations so far.
