In the final countdown to the Tamil Nadu Assembly election results, TVK candidate N Marie Wilson detailed meticulous instructions from party chief Vijay. Candidates were told to reach counting centers early and closely monitor proceedings, refusing to move an inch, to ensure a seamless vote counting process.
During a media briefing, Wilson addressed the campaign meeting where candidates shared their ground experiences and preparation strategies for the anticipated May 4 results. He emphasized the importance of focusing on 'ground reality' over exit polls, which predicted a DMK advantage.
TVK spokesperson C T Nirmal Kumar painted the election as a revolutionary event in Tamil Nadu's political history, hinting at a shift in voter loyalty from main contenders DMK and AIADMK to TVK, amidst allegations of violence by the ruling DMK against TVK functionaries.
