In a recent address at a congress training camp in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district, party leader Rahul Gandhi underscored the fundamental ideological differences between Congress and BJP. He urged Congress district presidents from Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir to prioritize genuine public service over political ambition.
Gandhi's visit aimed to invigorate the state party cadre following an organizational restructuring. During the session, he provided guidance on systemic changes and discussed future challenges and international policies shaping national governance. Over 60 district presidents engaged in dialogue, receiving necessary directives to enhance party operations.
According to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the training camp also featured sessions on media strategy, social media use, and grassroots outreach. These efforts are part of Congress's 'Organisation Building Programme' as it prepares for upcoming panchayat and assembly elections.
