The Congress party has expressed its gratitude towards the people of Kerala for granting the United Democratic Front (UDF) a decisive victory. Despite setbacks faced in other states, the party remains undaunted in its mission to advance its ideological stance.
Speaking on behalf of the party, Jairam Ramesh, the Congress general secretary responsible for communications, acknowledged the UDF's significant win in Kerala, promising to respect and uphold the trust placed in them by the electorate. He emphasized the Congress's resolve in continuing its ideological battle, stating that the fight for democracy and truth against authoritarianism will proceed with determination.
A detailed analysis of the other states' results is pending, including West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, and the Union Territory of Puducherry, where the Congress failed to make significant gains. Nevertheless, preparations for a comprehensive review, including dispatching observers to Kerala, are already underway.
