Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister, extended his congratulations to N Rangasamy, the leader of AINRC, as he assumed the role of Puducherry's Chief Minister for the fifth time. Modi praised Rangasamy for his notable administrative skills in strengthening the region's journey towards growth.
Alongside Rangasamy, A Namassivayam and Malladi Krishna Rao were sworn in as ministers. The Prime Minister expressed confidence in the new cabinet's ability to enhance Puducherry's progress and improve the ease of living for its residents, signaling robust support from the central government.
The official ceremony was overseen by Lt Governor K Kailashnathan. Notably, BJP national president Nitin Nabin and senior leader BL Santhosh graced the event. The NDA coalition's triumph in the recent April elections ensured their continued leadership in Puducherry.
