Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a historic visit to Norway, marking the first time an Indian prime minister has visited the country in 43 years. This follows a successful trip to Sweden, where India and Sweden elevated their ties to a Strategic Partnership.
During his visit to Sweden, Modi held crucial talks with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, focusing on enhancing cooperation in trade, technology, and defense. The two leaders also aimed to double bilateral trade within five years and created a new innovation partnership and technology corridor.
Now in Norway, Modi is set to attend the third India-Nordic Summit, alongside leaders from Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Sweden. His agenda includes improving bilateral trade and fostering collaboration in manufacturing, clean energy, and research.
