In a pointed critique, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday called out Prime Minister Narendra Modi over allegations that the Indian leader sidestepped journalist questions during his Norway visit.
Gandhi, amplifying his message via social media platform X, circulated a video where Modi is seen walking away as a journalist posed a question in Norway. 'When there is nothing to hide, there is nothing to fear,' Gandhi remarked, questioning the impact of such actions on India's global image.
Prime Minister Modi's appearance in Norway is part of a larger six-day tour across five nations for the India-Nordic Summit. The situation drew additional comments from Congress's Jairam Ramesh, who posted about Modi's engagement with Netherlands PM Rob Jetten, implying scrutiny of Modi's explanations to his international counterparts.
