On Saturday, YSR Congress Party figure and former Finance Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Buggana Rajendranath, sharply criticized Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan. Rajendranath spoke out against Kalyan's recent remarks about Telangana, underscoring the necessity for political figures to grasp public sentiment and stay clear of inciting regional strife.
Rajendranath described Kalyan's comments as "wrong," urging public figures to counter criticism with facts rather than perpetuating emotional disputes. He highlighted that when disagreements arise, addressing them with factual explanations is crucial to prevent unnecessary escalation into regional divides.
This verbal conflict follows Kalyan's accusations against certain Telangana politicians regarding his right to enter Hyderabad. Kalyan raised issues about the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh in 2014, contending it was disrespectfully executed. He called for balanced mutual respect between Andhra and Telangana, prioritizing the aspirations and rights of people from both states.
