The Congress party, led by Madhya Pradesh's Congress President Jitu Patwari, is seeking an audience with President Droupadi Murmu to address critical national issues, including the controversial cancellation of their Rajya Sabha candidate, Minakshi Natarajan.
Patwari stated that Congress MLAs from Madhya Pradesh will be converging in Delhi, with plans to engage the media on the next steps of their political campaign. He expressed hope for a meeting with the President but hinted at alternative actions should their request be denied.
The opposition sharply criticized the BJP government, alleging a lack of accountability across key sectors like foreign policy, economics, and agriculture, accusing them of deflecting blame. This move follows a strategic Congress session chaired by party chief Mallikarjun Kharge, attended by senior leaders to discuss escalating national concerns.
