Russian forces have reportedly taken control of the village of Rai-Oleksandrivka in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region, according to Ukraine's Defence Ministry.

Russian forces have taken control of the village of Rai-Oleksandrivka in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine, the Defence Ministry said on Thursday, the Interfax news agency reported.
Reuters could not independently confirm the battlefield report.
