Union minister and BJP nominee Dr Virendra Kumar retained the Tikamgarh Lok Sabha seat by defeating Congress candidate Kiran Ahirwar by a margin of 3,48,059 votes. In Sagar, BJPs Rajbahadur Singh defeated Prabhu Singh Thakur of the Congress by a margin of 3,05,542 votes.
Former Union minister Faggan Singh Kulaste of the BJP retained the Mandla (ST) seat by trouncing Congress nominee Kamal Singh Marawi by a margin of 97,674 votes. Another former Union minister, Prahlad Patel of the BJP, retained Damoh by trouncing Congress nominee Pratap Singh by a margin of 3,53,411 votes.
