Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, engaged in significant talks with the newly-appointed Deputy Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh and Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana, focusing on areas of mutual interest and bilateral concerns.
The discussions centered on issues such as controlling river pollution and improving solid waste management, as well as the progress of several projects supported by India. The high-level meetings occurred shortly after Singh and Rana assumed office under the coalition government led by Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli.
Srivastava reaffirmed India's commitment to bolstering cooperation and reviewed integrated customs check posts at the India-Nepal border. The ambassador also paid a courtesy visit to Dr Rana, further solidifying bilateral relations between the neighboring countries.
