Taipei Shaken: Earthquake Strikes Hualien

An earthquake struck near Hualien, Eastern Taiwan, causing brief tremors in Taipei. The Central Weather Administration reported no immediate damage.

Buildings shook briefly in Taiwan's capital Taipei on Monday as an earthquake struck near Hualien.

The Central Weather Administration stated that the quake's epicenter was in the eastern county of Hualien.

At present, there are no reported damages or injuries resulting from the tremors.
