In a recent address, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his instrumental role in the developmental strides seen in the northeastern state and the broader region. Khandu highlighted the energy and optimism that Modi's visit brought to the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
Khandu underscored the Prime Minister's consistent focus on the Northeast since the BJP-led NDA government assumed power. He noted that the region, previously marked by challenges, is now recognized for its progress due to strategic policy interventions. The chief minister stressed that Arunachal Pradesh and the Northeast are becoming key contributors to the nation's economy.
In particular, Khandu expressed appreciation for the launch of the GST Bachat Utsav, describing it as a milestone in implementing NextGen GST reforms. This, coupled with the inauguration of major projects and hydro initiatives by Modi, marks a new chapter of progress for Arunachal Pradesh.
