India's Rescue Mission: NDRF Steps In to Aid Cyclone-Stricken Sri Lanka

In a significant humanitarian move, India dispatched a team of 80 National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) rescuers to Sri Lanka to assist in relief operations amid the catastrophic aftermath of Cyclone Ditwah.
The team, which departed from Hindon airbase early on Saturday, is divided into two groups and includes four specialized search dogs. Their mission is part of Operation Sagar Bandhu, a relief initiative aimed at supporting Sri Lanka's recovery efforts.
The NDRF personnel are equipped with a range of essential rescue tools and supplies, including inflatable boats, hydraulic equipment, and first-aid kits, to assist in the ongoing rescue and relief operations in the hurricane-hit regions.
