Delhi Faces Coldest November in Half a Decade

Delhi has just recorded its coldest November in five years, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The average minimum temperature plummeted to 11.5 degrees Celsius, compared to 14.7 degrees in November 2024, indicating a noticeable drop in temperatures.
Additionally, the average maximum temperature settled at a brisk 27.7 degrees Celsius, in stark contrast to last November's warmer 29.4 degrees. Pleasantly cool days were marked by the lowest maximum temperature of 25.1 degrees Celsius.
The capital also experienced a completely dry November, with no rainy days recorded, reflecting an ongoing dry spell in the post-monsoon stretch. The IMD forecast suggests fog for the upcoming Sunday, adding to the chill in the air.
