Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has starkly contrasted the air quality in Uttar Pradesh with Delhi, likening the latter to a 'gas chamber' due to its severe pollution issues. Speaking at the newly inaugurated Block Development Officer's office in Jungle Kauria, Adityanath praised Uttar Pradesh's clean environment amidst ongoing development projects.

Highlighting the region's healthy atmosphere, Adityanath noted that pollution-free environments lead to fewer ailments. Citing Delhi's air quality index of 211, falling under the 'poor' category, he cautioned against environmental disruption. He underscored the looming global challenge of environmental degradation, calling for proactive measures.

Adityanath also announced initiatives to bolster the state's environmental and economic sectors, including the proposed forestry university in Campierganj, which aims to tackle environmental issues and boost farmers' incomes. The state also plans to establish a Jatayu Conservation Centre, reflecting a commitment to preserving biodiversity and cultural heritage.
