Overnight Russian Drone Attack Batters Odesa: 10 Wounded
A Russian drone attack on Odesa injured 10 people, including children, and damaged key city areas, highlighting persistent vulnerabilities amid ongoing conflict.
A Russian drone attack struck the southern Ukrainian city of Odesa overnight, wounding 10 individuals, including two children. Residential buildings and a hotel were heavily damaged, especially in the central Prymorskyi district, according to local officials.
The head of the local military administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported that the injured were mainly concentrated in the area, describing the night as extremely challenging. High-rise buildings, private homes, and vehicles also suffered damage across other districts.
A vital Black Sea port, Odesa has frequently been targeted amid the larger conflict initiated by Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, underscoring its strategic significance in the ongoing war.
