Yaw Brogya Genfi, the former Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has grimaced the merit of Isaac Asiamah, the Ghanaian politician and current Minister of Youth and Sports.
Yaw Brogya Genfi has questioned on what merit Isaac Asiamah is still holding the ministerial post, as according to him, he (Asiamah) is a symbol of 'a square peg in round hole.'
In a letter copied to the President Nana Akufo-Addo to demand his immediate removal, Brogya Genfi catalogued series of reasons the Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah should be booted out of the Ministry describing him as one who emboldens incompetence.
"He is not up to the task of supervising and managing the Ministry. He has nothing to show since his appointment. He has been walking from one failure to another. He supervised the Australia scandal which embarrassed our country internationally," portions of his letter read, MyNewsGh noted.
"Ghana Football Association has become a burden on the country due to his incompetent management. Our Country hosted the African Women's Championship yet our young girls could not go past the group stage, missing out on qualification to the World Cup. Why is he still at the post?" Genfi questioned.
Genfi concluded by tagging Hon. Isaac Asiamah as one who epitomizes incompetence and questioned the President's criterion on measuring the performances of his over-bloated 110 Ministers.
'How does His Excellency Akufo-Addo measure his elephant-size Ministers? What criteria does he use to assess them… Hon. Isaac Asiamah must be sacked," he continued questioning through his letter to Nana Akufo-Addo, President of Ghana.
