Naqvi announced the formation of a six-member advisory board led by Waqar Younis and a new domestic structure integrated into the constitution to safeguard its future. The structure will feature five teams composed of 30 players each, supervised by reputable former cricketers with a three-year management tenure.
Pakistan's contracted players will partake in these events, ensuring top-tier talent. Waqar Younis emphasized that these changes aim to improve Pakistan's international cricket performance, promising that extensive resources would be allocated to fortify domestic cricket.
