Indian Wrestlers Shine at U20 Wrestling World Championships
Nikita captured a silver and Neha secured a bronze as India finished second overall with five medals at the U20 Wrestling World Championships. Nikita lost to Ukrainian wrestler Iryna Bondar, while Neha defeated Gerda Terek of Hungary. The team won one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals.

Indian wrestlers have made the nation proud at the U20 Wrestling World Championships, securing a second-place finish with an impressive tally of five medals.
Nikita, a former gold medalist at the U20 Asian Championships, clinched a silver in the 62 kg freestyle category after falling to Ukrainian wrestler Iryna Bondar in the final. Adding to the medal haul, Neha, fresh from her gold at the U17 World Championships, bagged a bronze in the 57 kg freestyle category by defeating Gerda Terek of Hungary in a close contest.
India concluded the championships with a total of five medals, including one gold by Jyoti Berwal in the 76 kg event. Komal and Srishti added to the medal count with bronze medals in the 59 kg and 68 kg categories, respectively.
