Shubman Gill Discusses Dew Impact and Strategy Ahead of India-Pakistan Clash

India's vice-captain Shubman Gill explains how the absence of dew in Dubai affects their strategy for the Champions Trophy match against Pakistan. Gill emphasizes putting runs on board is crucial, and dew-free surfaces make batting challenging under lights. He's unfazed by the game hype or his role change.

India's vice-captain Shubman Gill addressed reporters on Saturday, highlighting that the absence of dew in Dubai makes chasing more difficult, persuading the team to prioritize accumulating runs in the upcoming match against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy.

Despite India’s historical dominance over Pakistan in world events, the match continues to receive significant attention from fans on both sides. However, Gill insists this hype does not alter the team’s preparation or his personal approach to the game.

Gill stressed the importance of a high score, noting that anything above 300 would be favorable. He also mentioned that vice-captaincy hasn't altered his aggressive yet strategic batting style and emphasized teamwork with captain Rohit Sharma, leveraging their contrasting playing styles to outmaneuver opponents.
