MotoGP legend Marc Marquez etched his name further in the annals of racing history by claiming the Austrian Grand Prix win during the milestone 1,000th premier class race. This victory elevated him to a substantial 142-point lead over his brother Alex in the ongoing championship standings.

Marquez continued his dominant streak by securing his sixth consecutive Grand Prix win of the season—a record he last matched in 2014. His latest triumph follows his previous sprint victory, underscoring his unmatched prowess since his breakthrough at the British Grand Prix in May.

The race saw Gresini Racing's Fermin Aldeguer finding an impressive late-race pace to finish second. Meanwhile, Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi, despite clinching pole position, had to settle for third. Alex Marquez finished 10th after incurring a long-lap penalty.
