The Sub Junior Women's National Hockey Championship saw exhilarating performances on its second day with teams like Goa, Bengal, Chandigarh, and Uttarakhand emerging victorious in their matches.
Demonstrating remarkable skills, Goa outscored Telangana 6-3 in a Division C Pool A match. The highlights included stellar performances from Captain Dellina Mendes and Bertila Kerketta, each scoring twice, along with other goal contributions from Seema Tirkey and Vidya Kumari.
Chandigarh delivered a dominant display against Gujarat with a 12-1 victory, spearheaded by Captain Kafi's four goals. Meanwhile, Bengal fought a hard-earned 1-0 victory over Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu, courtesy of a decisive strike from Captain Puja Kumari Shaw. Uttarakhand also shone with Kareena scoring an early hat-trick, securing a 6-1 win over Karnataka.
