Jets put TE Griffin on IR, activate OL Qvale

The New York Jets placed tight end Ryan Griffin on injured reserve with an ankle injury on Thursday, ending his season. The Jets filled the roster spot by activating offensive lineman Brent Qvale from IR.

Griffin joined New York during training camp and had a productive season, catching 34 passes for 320 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games.
