Thales Secures Long-term Avionics Deal with IndiGo
Global technology firm Thales has signed an 11-year avionics maintenance support contract with IndiGo for the airline's A320 aircraft. This includes future deliveries of over 800 planes. Thales' existing contract with IndiGo for fleet-wide Electronic Flight Bag rollout has also been extended by five years.

Global technology powerhouse Thales has fortified its relationship with leading Indian airline IndiGo by securing an extended 11-year avionics maintenance support contract. This agreement covers not only IndiGo's current fleet but also accounts for the airline's ambitious future deliveries of over 800 planes.
Alongside, Thales has extended its rollout contract for IndiGo's Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) solution by an additional five years, bolstering electronic operations across the airline's fleet. This is expected to optimize flight operations significantly and reduce annual paper consumption, a strategic move lauded by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Thales has been operational in India since 1953 and continues to lead in advanced technology solutions across various sectors, underlining its commitment to enhancing aerospace efficiencies and digital innovations.
