Black Box and Wind River Join Forces to Revolutionize Digital Infrastructure

Essar's digital arm, Black Box, partners with Wind River to provide cloud infrastructure solutions globally. The collaboration focuses on scalable private cloud systems and AI support, aiming to generate Rs 1,350 crore in revenue. Black Box secures preferred status in India and the Middle East.

Essar's digital subsidiary, Black Box, announced on Friday a strategic partnership with Wind River, a notable Aptiv company specializing in intelligent edge software. This alliance aims to deliver cutting-edge cloud infrastructure solutions across various industries worldwide.

The partnership will concentrate on offering integrated edge and cloud-native infrastructure, facilitating secure and scalable private cloud deployments, and supporting artificial intelligence workloads. Additionally, it will focus on enterprise-grade Linux platforms, automation, and centralized orchestration to optimize digital operations.

This collaboration is expected to generate around Rs 1,350 crore in global revenue over the next five years. Black Box has earned preferred status for distributing Wind River solutions in India and the Middle East, and will manage international customer engagements through a separate agreement. This initiative seeks to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience across sectors like manufacturing, financial services, and telecom.
