In a significant strategic move, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's largest IT services firm, announced the acquisition of US-based Coastal Cloud for a staggering USD 700 million. This all-cash deal positions TCS among the top five global Salesforce advisory and consulting firms.
The acquisition strengthens TCS's ability to drive AI-first, enterprise-scale transformations, as it integrates over 400 multi-cloud specialists with profound industry expertise. This move marks a pivotal milestone for TCS in advancing its Salesforce capabilities globally, stated Aarthi Subramanian, TCS's chief operating officer.
Coastal Cloud, founded in 2012, specializes in multi-cloud Salesforce consulting, focusing on comprehensive transformations. Their integration into TCS will enable the development of innovative solutions and modernize complex processes across industries worldwide, according to Eric Berridge, CEO of Coastal Cloud.
