In her address to Parliament, she noted that exports exceeded Rs 1 lakh crore in the first five months of the fiscal year, thanks to governmental initiatives.
Murmu emphasized the creation of over 25 lakh jobs solely in electronics manufacturing and more than one crore in IT-related sectors. She announced the government's approval for new semiconductor manufacturing units, which are essential for future technological self-reliance.
