Bill Gates Visits Andhra Pradesh to Enhance Tech-Driven Governance

Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, visited Andhra Pradesh on Monday, receiving a warm welcome from IT Minister Nara Lokesh at Gannavaram Airport. Accompanied by state ministers, Gates proceeded to the state Secretariat to discuss cooperation in health, agriculture, and technology-driven governance initiatives.
During the visit, Gates was briefed on existing health projects by the Gates Foundation in Kuppam and explored possibilities of expanding these initiatives across the state. He is also expected to witness the use of AI technology at the Real Time Governance System (RTGS), where Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will present Andhra Pradesh's vision for 2047.
Concluding his visit, Gates will visit an agricultural farm in Undavalli, Amaravati, to observe the application of drones and AI technology in farming. This visit aims to deepen collaboration between the Gates Foundation and the Andhra Pradesh government, driving impactful solutions for public welfare.
