L&T Ventures into Industrial Electronics Manufacturing with New Campus
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has launched its new business vertical, L&T Electronic Products & Systems (LTEPS), marking its entry into industrial electronics manufacturing. The operations, initiated at the Coimbatore campus, will serve both domestic and international clients, enhancing the electronics manufacturing ecosystem through innovative solutions.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a giant in infrastructure, has announced its entry into industrial electronics manufacturing, marking a significant expansion of its business endeavours. This new venture will be spearheaded by the newly-formed L&T Electronic Products & Systems (LTEPS) entity, with manufacturing activities centralized at their Coimbatore campus in Tamil Nadu.
The Bengaluru-headquartered LTEPS aims to bolster the national electronics manufacturing ecosystem by offering innovative electronics manufacturing services to both domestic and international markets. To this end, two manufacturing lines have already been commissioned as part of their initial operations.
L&T Chairman and Managing Director S N Subrahmanyan emphasized that this move is aimed at expanding their presence in high-growth sectors such as power electronics, mobility, and industrial robotics. Future plans include expanding their Coimbatore site to a 40-acre campus dedicated to the full industrial electronics value chain.
