In a bid to foster international cooperation and economic growth, Ko Osada, the Deputy Governor of Japan's Yamanashi Prefecture, engaged in pivotal discussions with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The meeting, held on Wednesday, centered around investment prospects and technological advancements in the state.
Highlighting a significant opportunity, Osada announced that approximately 250 CEOs from Japan are expected to visit Uttar Pradesh. Their mission is to evaluate the investment potential of the state, buoyed by its strong governance and burgeoning economy. The delegation's visit aims to open avenues for employment, particularly for the youth.
Key topics included the burgeoning field of green hydrogen, with plans to establish a Centre of Excellence rooted in Japanese technology. The dialogue also touched on enhancing cultural ties through tourism, especially the Buddhist Circuit, and expanding educational opportunities with Yamanashi University offering student exchanges in industrial technology.
