Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underlined the state's commitment to youth development during a loan distribution event at Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. Adityanath highlighted the 'CM Yuva Udyami Scheme,' distributing Rs 48 crore among 1,070 youths, reinforcing self-reliance and endorsing the vision of 'Startup India, Standup India.'
The government revealed that over 2.67 lakh youths applied for the scheme, surpassing the 1 lakh target. Adityanath emphasized that with government backing, challenges can be overcome, and expressed confidence in the youth's potential to drive Uttar Pradesh towards becoming a USD 1 trillion economy, aligning with India's USD 5 trillion goal.
Further, the scheme's first phase offers interest-free loans of up to Rs 5 lakh, with special provisions for marginalized groups. The CM assured that Western Uttar Pradesh would not lag in development strides. Recent expansions, such as the Ganga Expressway, were highlighted to underscore improvements in connectivity and safety.
