Following a recent ceasefire with Pakistan, India has announced the reopening of 32 airports that were closed due to clashes. The Airports Authority of India confirmed that these airports are now ready for civil aircraft operations.
Pakistan, on its part, has fully reopened its airspace since Saturday, marking a significant step towards normalcy in the region. The developments come after heightened tensions temporarily disrupted aviation services.
India's largest airline, IndiGo, has stated its intention to progressively resume operations along previously affected routes, starting immediately. This move aims to restore connectivity and ease travel disruptions experienced by passengers.
