KEC International Boosts Global T&D Portfolio with Rs 1,064 Crore Saudi Order

KEC International, a key player in infrastructure, has secured a Rs 1,064 crore contract in Saudi Arabia to establish a 380 kV transmission line. The order strengthens their Middle East influence and boosts their international T&D portfolio. The company's year-to-date orders now exceed Rs 15,000 crore.

KEC International, a major entity in the infrastructure sector, announced on Tuesday that it has been awarded a significant order worth Rs 1,064 crore to build a transmission line in Saudi Arabia.

The order, from an RPG Group company, involves the design, supply, and installation of a 380 kV transmission line in the region, as per a company statement. This latest achievement highlights the company's expanding influence in Saudi Arabia.

Managing Director and CEO, Vimal Kejriwal, noted that the Middle East has been a strategic growth area for KEC International, with this order further bolstering their international transmission and distribution order book. The cumulative order intake for the year has soared past Rs 15,000 crore.
