Mumbai Congress president Varsha Gaikwad has called for a high-level investigation into the massive disruption of IndiGo flight operations across India, which has left thousands of passengers stranded over the past three days.
During her visit to Mumbai airport, Gaikwad highlighted the struggles faced by passengers including senior citizens, women, and children, who were left in long queues without information, food, or water.
She criticized the government for not intervening in the crisis and alleged that some airlines exploited the situation by hiking ticket prices. Gaikwad demanded accountability and corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
