Notably, the production from its Indian operations mirrored this 5% uptick, achieving 23.61 lakh tonnes for the month. Despite a temporary reduction in capacity utilization to 84% due to a blast furnace shutdown for upgradation at the Vijayanagar facility, JSW Steel's output remained strong.
As the flagship business of the JSW Group, valued at USD 23 billion, JSW Steel is integral to the conglomerate's diversified interests, including energy, infrastructure, and more, marking its significance in India's infrastructure growth.
