Boeing has forecasted that airlines across India and South Asia will demand approximately 3,300 new aircraft by 2044, driven by a surge in air traffic.

The US aircraft manufacturer reported on Wednesday that single-aisle jets are expected to account for nearly 90% of these additional planes, totaling 2,875 units, while wide-body aircraft would constitute 395.

According to Boeing's Commercial Marker Outlook for South Asia, the aviation sector will also necessitate 45,000 pilots, the same number of technicians, and 51,000 cabin crew members over the next two decades.
