The diplomatic relations between India and the UAE have attained significant advancements, according to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. During the launch of the Symbiosis International University campus in Dubai, Jaishankar praised collaborations in fintech, renewable energy, infrastructure, and defence as examples of growing bilateral ties.
He highlighted the 2015 visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the UAE as a historic and defining moment for the future of India-UAE bilateral engagements. Jaishankar emphasized that the visit marked a new chapter, paving the way for Comprehensive Economic Partnerships and swift negotiations in various sectors.
The inauguration of the Symbiosis campus in Dubai is part of increasing cultural and educational exchanges between India and the UAE, reflecting a broader trend. Jaishankar expressed confidence that such initiatives would equip students with 21st-century skills necessary for the evolving global landscape.
