Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood announced on Monday that parents can directly report any irregularities in Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota school admissions, enhancing transparency and accountability in the process.

Official reports highlight that the verification of EWS quota admissions is progressing, with 6,192 documents verified for children selected through a draw on March 5. This stringent verification process is being held at designated centres.

Sood pointed out that out of more than 2 lakh applications, 44,045 children's names were randomly selected through a computerised lottery for nursery, KG, and Class 1 under the EWS quota. The Education Department is actively working to guarantee transparency, as stated under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's leadership.
