In a critical discussion during Monday's Assembly session, Delhi's Education Minister Ashish Sood committed to preparing an action report on the worsening conditions of local schools. This announcement comes amid growing concerns raised by several BJP MLAs over inadequate school infrastructure.
MLA Arvinder Singh Lovely, representing Gandhi Nagar, pointed out the troubling state of schools on Brahmapuri Main Road and in the Trans-Yamuna region. He demanded a comprehensive list of schools facing infrastructure issues, which the minister promised to present at the next session.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA OP Sharma urged the reopening of Pratibha Schools closed by the former administration to support skilled students. The Assembly's discussion also touched on university financial aid matters, with Sood pledging detailed insights in due course.
