New Cultural Gems Added to UNESCO World Heritage List
On Saturday, UNESCO inscribed several new sites on its World Heritage List, including China's imperial palaces, Japan's Sado Island Gold Mines, and Malaysia's cavern complex. This session marked at least 26 new inscriptions. Other countries, including Russia, Germany, and Saudi Arabia, also celebrated their cultural sites' inclusion.

UNESCO unveiled several new sites for its prestigious World Heritage List on Saturday, spotlighting China's historic palaces, Japan's Sado Island Gold Mines, and Malaysia's immense cavern complex.
In New Delhi, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee added at least 26 new inscriptions during its 46th session over the past two days.
Significant additions include Russia's Cultural Landscape of Kenozero Lake, Germany's Schwerin Residence Ensemble, and Saudi Arabia's cultural landscape of the Al-Faw Archaeological Area.
