SGPC Invites Rai Bular's Descendants for Guru Nanak Dev's Birth Anniversary
The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has invited the descendants of Rai Bular, a devotee of Guru Nanak Dev from Pakistan, to attend his birth anniversary in India. The SGPC has assured to arrange their travel and accommodation, urging the government to issue visas. The event will be celebrated in multiple locations on November 15.

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has extended invitations to four descendants of Rai Bular, a devoted follower of Guru Nanak Dev from Pakistan, to partake in the birth anniversary celebrations of the first Sikh Guru in November.
In letters to families including Rai Muhammad Salim Akram Bhatti, a descendant of Rai Bular, the SGPC announced the 'Parkash Gurpurb' of Guru Nanak Dev, which will be commemorated on November 15 across several Indian cities including Amritsar, Sultanpur Lodhi, Dera Baba Nanak, Batala, Delhi, and Nanakmatta in Uttarakhand.
The SGPC has assured these families of management of their travel and stay in India from November 1 to 30, to honor the first Sikh Guru. SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami has urged the government to issue necessary visas, ensuring their participation in the celebrations and allowing them to view Rai Bular's painting at the Golden Temple's central Sikh museum.
